The St Michel project
Founded in 1905, St Michel is an iconic French cookie company. For over a century, it has embodied the artisanal know-how that has made its reputation, particularly through its flagship cookies such as galettes and madeleines. Firmly rooted in tradition, the company values authenticity and quality in its manufacturing processes.
St Michel doesn't limit itself to traditional sales outlets, as the company has developed its online store, where it offers a vast choice of cookies, galettes, madeleines and other pastry specialties, available to individuals as well as parent-teacher associations and works councils (Comités d'Entreprise - CSE).
Prestashop site redesign
Soledis was asked by St Michel to redesign its PrestaShop online store, drawing on its expertise as a PrestaShop expert *** agency. The redesign focused on several key aspects.
First of all, it was necessary to modernize the store's graphic interface. Soledis was therefore involved in the design of the mock-ups, taking inspiration from the existing graphic charter of the St Michel website, and then integrating them.
The aim of this overhaul was also to dematerialize sales to parent-teacher associations and CSEs. Previously, the entire process, from order to payment, was paper-based. The aim was to modernize and digitize all these operations.
Finally, St Michel has connected its PrestaShop site to Cegid ERP, enabling the integration of these new functions, which encompass numerous flows and accounting documents.
Focus on our webmarketing support
Soledis was also asked by St Michel to provide structured webmarketing support tailored to their specific needs.
I began by carrying out a full strategic audit to understand St Michel's challenges, assess their positioning in relation to the competition, and formulate tailored recommendations. This enabled us to lay the foundations for a webmarketing strategy tailored to the brand's objectives.
We then recommended a webmarketing strategy and implemented concrete actions to support St Michel. For example, I worked on optimizing SEO positioning by regularly monitoring the performance of their online store. I also wrote product sheets and created video content to boost their online presence.
In addition, we configured Looker Studio for St Michel and developed two customized dashboards: one to monitor the performance of the showcase sites, and the other for the online store. These tools bring together and synthesize key data from different sources, simplifying strategic decision-making.
Today, thanks to this support, St Michel benefits from a clear and detailed view of its online performance, enabling them to effectively manage their digital business.
