1 - A taste for challenge

E-commerce is a fast-growing market, but it's also one that's constantly changing. Shopify, Google Shopping, Amazon... innovations abound! You need to know how to adapt and advise customers accordingly, whether in BtoC or BtoB. The same goes for our working methods: GIT, bitbucket, Wrike, Yammer... We use the best tools to work together effectively.

At Soledis, you have to be always on the lookout for new things. We're looking for talent that doesn't rest on its laurels, but is constantly on the lookout for new ideas. to learn and progress. In 2020, the Comptoir des Industries Françaises project on Prestashop 1.7 was a real challenge for the whole project team.

I was both impatient and stressed to get started: it was our first time using Prestashop 1.7 and the Symfony framework was not at all part of our working habits. There was a risk of losing hours of development time, but we saw it as R&D to help Soledis build on its expertise! I think it's a real strength to have this mindset.

2 - A close-knit, agile team

Soledis is a company in full growth (+ 20% of new employees in 2020 and a similar trend in 2021 and 2022). Our organization is always on the move, our processes are not set in stone, and all new ideas are welcome! All working methods are co-constructed by teams and constantly challenged. The retrospective meetings allow us to take a step back and analyze what went well or not so well during the last few projects; it's motivating. It's also a good way of challenging ourselves, so we don't rest on our laurels. The aim is to improve, and everyone plays along.
