After Monoprix and Amazon, it's Carrefour's turn to partner with Google. The aim? The voice trading. 

Visit voice searches on smartphones are steadily increasing (50% of searches will be by voice in 2020) and connected speakers released by Amazon and Google will reinforce this trend. For retailers, it's a golden opportunity to get a foothold in a market that's just beginning to take off.

Those who arrive first will have an adapted product catalog, and therefore necessarily better referenced, than those who arrive later.

For the moment, in France, it is not possible to order directly from connected speakers; however, it is possible to create shopping lists, recommend complementary products... Visit estimated at $40 billion by 2022.

There is a risk, however, that GAFAs will cannibalize retailers. The risk is greater for Monoprix, as Amazon already has its own storage and redistribution system.
